i've been looking through the boards and there is impressive 2litre corsas and one very nicely tuned 1.6 from andy h, i'm sure we can compete with the jap's eyes and the cossies
just a wee thought for you to think about chaps and chappettes

To compete properly, you'd need to be able to get into 12s 1/4 mile times, be able to easily top 150mph, and have rock-steady handling......if you didn't want to come absolute last by a country-mile.
That's from my opinion as a marshall.

Myself - 2.5 V6 Turbo with NOS (hopfully hitting 400bhp)
Adam K - 2.1 throttle bodys (same spec if not higher then LuckyB 4.9 0-60 corsa 250+bhp)
AndyH - 1.6 throttle bodys (215bhp)
theres abit of time to pick the rest, there a few fast corsas being built at the moment, and theres a few already about i will be picking the other 2 in the new year (not just myself picking will be a team choice)
We will find it Hard to come first on a few things but i think over all we should make a good team, Rocket ronnie has won TOTB every year but he hasent won every event, its about overall team outcome.

the Turbo is being fitting over Winter if that fails i have some £££ for get some throttle bodys, i have had a go and a play about with the turbo, but had a few heat problems but dident really spend alot of time on it.
as for AndyH i dont see why not, but i do know what u mean. he has done low 14's before hes had a few bits and bobs done, and 13 - 14 are good for a FWD car, but andys should handle really well giving us some added points on that part of the day where mine doesnt handle very well, but will be good top end, so all in all should even itself out and put a good over all team effort in.

I think the selection process should be on peoples times NOT spec/cars you know etc...
Have a benchmark or a qualifying day, hey presto you deffo get the 5 best cars then.

it would be hard to do a Quailifying dayas theres no where, that u can test ever aspect of the car. like top speed, handling etc etc.
the only thing we can really use is the 1/4 mile and you could then have 5 corsa which are good at 1/4 but can not handle for shit and top out at 120.
also i know it sounds mad but try and think of 10 fast/high spec corsas?
it is harder then u think

You could go to Straightliners day to see if your 1/4s and 1.25s are quick enough.

before the TOTB4 there are a Quailifying days before hand for who go's into the final.
again its hard to find 10 fast/highspec corsas to even warrant quailifying day before the TOTB quailifiers
