You need V10 Tax Application Form & V5 or V5/2 if you just bought the car

ive sold my old car and the guy thats bought it is asking me to tax it and he will give me the money back. but i dont have any insurance for it so he will have to send me his insurance stuff.

How weird is that, I just pulled my V10 out of my draw at work getting ready to tax the Nova when it comes out the bodyshop.

It was declared SORN, and they sent me the form.

hmm im delcared mine SORN when the tax ran out and all i got was a crappy looking letter from the dvla saying yep its declared SORN now!

I had that one as well, but had the blue V10 form in the envelope as well.

If he has insurance cert he can tax the car himself, just needs to take the little gree slip at the bottom of the V5 and MOT cert.
