My mate has a Punto GT....

its got central locking and the battery has died and there is only just enough power to turn the alarm on and off..

the central locking doesnt work becuase of the flat battery.

sooo.. he needs to charge the battery up..

doors been delocked, and the boot lock is fooked. so that aint gunna work,

is there any known way that you can pop the bonnet or open the doors, or use anything to charge the battery up from the outside...

2 things i thought off. .

1. jack the side up, put blocks under the front wheels and jack it up from the front. then reach in and pull the bonnet cable releasing the bonnet. so we can then get to the battery..

2. take off the indicator and use the wire there as a live and the car bodywork as earth and put a 6volts battery charger on it to give it enough to use the central locking.

any help would be appreciated because he dont fancy smashing a window.

i would try the idea you had before where u jacked the car up and released the bonnet from underneath the car, as i have done this before, try it and see how it goes!
