im going for a interview thing on thursday just to get abit of info on this career and would like to know if its a good career to follow eg work wise, wages etc. ive got the choice of all motor industry jobs but i am mostly interested in bodywork, and paint spraying etc as im not that clued up and interested on the engine and that sorta stuff. Its with a group called remit and the interviews are in telford so i want to get a bit of background info before i go and see if anyone else is going to them.

going on the base of a trainee, these are the diffrent area you could work in, in a normal delership (based on vw delership in london)
admin, flat rate, likely to be around 1k after tax a month
sales: difficult to get into, if you hit bonus anything from £1500 - £3000 a month
parts: flat rate plus bonus, good base to get into trade and move up
service: flat rate, 1K plus a month, stressfull to work in, but can move into any area of trade with work
workshop, 3 year apprentership, when completed can ean anything from £1500 up if you hit a effrency bonus, as a traine your looking at £600 a month
