right then guys & gals

theres alot of talk about things we could do for this meet & we dont seem to getting anywhere with it. i mentioned to Ian that our region was missing someone to organise everything with kerry no longer living up here so im now the new organiser for our region its about time that we had a meet & i think we really need to get everyone involved & make sure its on a day when we can all attend (including you jimmy )


so far peoples ideas have been:

-a camping meet
-a piss up @ a local pub
-night out on piss (sheffield & rotherham were mentioned)
-or just a normal meet so that everyone can just get to meet other members


personally i think the camping meet is a brilliant idea. this way we get to have a meet, get drunk ( ) & camp over all in the same night. then we dont have to worry about people drink driving etc....


please post your thoughts/opinions here or u2u me

wondered why the other thread was crossed!

camping sounds top- but timing sound difficult. with you being away, and jimmy. and then theres the issue of weather. anything after late august is gona be orrid for campin.
camping is gona take a load of arrangin. for now, personally i think it would be a good idea to get this local meet sorted, but thats almost done already.

so far, me, smiffie, venom turbo, matt h, coprsalad 16v, and smiffies mate dodd are going to a pub in or around sheffield/rotherham, for a pint and a game of pool, to get to know eachother a little better.

anyone else is welcome to come, but its going to happen pretty soon i think, next couple weeks, so we need to get a date/venue sorted asap!

so far theres been 20 people view this & only 1 reply i need to know wot everyone would like to do so we can get this sorted

bill- yeah weather is gonna be a problem going into september but with the weather so unpredictable these days who knows?

a normal meet just to meet everyone is a god starting point

bloody hell- this region gets slower by the day. people are always desperate for a local meet. when someone finally gets off their arse and aranges one, theres no1 to be seen

ROTHER VALLEY, its off the M1 and the ppl who went to the national meet know where it is, and we held the national meet there so the rother valley dudes and dudettes shudnt have a problem with a mini meet been held surely

i still think meeting at a pub
having a few drinks (dont have to b beers cos i wont b drinking) and a few games of pool or sumthing like that would b a lot better way to get to know ppls
something along the lines of meet around 7:30 / 8 oclock
drinks, pool, look around cars etc...
go for little cruise

yeh think centertainment is a good place, lots to do and lots of eye candy ;-) thats normally where sheffcruise meet for there team talks, so would be a good spot
