So you can't sell up... but you love Nova's... so asking for our opinions on both cars is pretty pointless

Corsas are half decent without big power though, take jills for example its a nice looking car (im not sure what engine it has) but it doesnt need a big engine fir it to be a nice car.

No without power, Corsa's are just another mundane shopping-run car. Looks wise they're gash as standard, start to mess with that and you'll end up with a disaster on 4 wheels.

If you want something nice to look at, check out http://www.tate.org.uk and leave the car for driving.

Corsas look good with a few simple touches. I love the look of mine and a lot of peoples on here. Mines only 45bhp but it looks and sounds sweet so am proud to drive it. Speed isn't the be all and end all of owning a nice car. But doin up a Nova 1.2 would be pointless as they look shit. Best Nova IMO is a standard GTE with 2.0 lump in.

novas are really really light and with a big engine in and subtle exterior you can have some real fun!!!! (STREET SLEEPER) although finding a perfect 1 will be a bitch!!! corsa on the other hand are easy to pickup more robust and are not as renound for rusting as of yet and a big engine transplant is a must!!!! so id say both!!!!

Yes, decent ones in pristine condition and with decent engines are few and fare between.

I am pleased to be part of the MINT crew.

I suppose your right. Jill's car can't be that fast seeing as it only has a 150bhp engine in it

Both have their charms. IMO corsas for bollox out styling and novas for out right speed. TBH though i think in 10 years time their will still be novas runnin around but probably not corsas cos i personally don't think that they have the same cult following as novas. I think my old nova (RIP) was a lot more fun to drive than my 2yr old corsa but was less reliable etc. In answer to the question i wud have both if i cud afford it.
