I wouldnt mind one of these next year when im 19. are they 16v the 1.6s?

I will hopefully touch wood have a clean license still and clean insurance.

Just wondering how much i could get a standard one for wiv good mileage on. also what the insurance like on them. shouldnt be too bad considering its a 1.6.

anyone else got one and what are they like?

They alright I had one for weekend then following weekend I had the 2.0i SRi and after that I had Pug 306TDi... The 1.6 was great for motorway but my Bravo had it easy, the 2.0 was good and was still ahlf decent on insurance

wat would the 1.8 version be like then for a 19year old or would i get raped by insurance as i will want to spend money on mods

the 1.6 is slow..my mates got one and it struggles to keep with my 1.4 zr.


its a big heavycar imo...

2 small an engine for the type of car i reckon, needs to be at the very least a 1.8 i wud say!

yes that was back in the day, I loved that car... had a great sound system and I thought the air filter made the car sound like a turbo

my mates vtr just pulls a car lengh up to 100mph... very close... car has potential... get a black one

ive got the 1.6 16v twinport sport version, and despite what all of u say i rekon its quick for what it is, see's off other 1.6 16v corsas and it handles great too
