Can you tell me if you are insured on someone elses car 3rd party if you are fully comp with elephant.co.uk? I know it applies on most policies......

I was with them for 2 years, wasnt insured on other cars tho

I think its something you would need to phone and ask them to add to the policy.

Thing is, i only need to be insured on the other vehicle for 1 day - i dont want to have to pay a year and then cancel incurring loads of admin costs etc....

You can get insurance for a day a week 2 weeks whatever....best to phone and ask

I got added to my dads car in the winter and it was only an extra £28 a month

With elephant it will say on your policy if you are. If it doesn't you can't get it added. But as kolin says just phone them up and get it for a week.

I think most companies will insure u 3rd party only on any car u drive if you have a fully comp policy. Normally over 25's tho. Some places might do it over 21 but I'm not too sure. My dad has it on his policy, but then again hes paying £155/year fully comp on a volvo with SAGA insurance
