decided to take out the old speaker wire from doors to headunit and run some new better stuff from amp to doors, and then from crossover to speakers/tweeters

all going ok, but i HATE the damn multi plug in the door, and seeing as i dont need them, i decided hummmmmm why dont i take it out, cut the middle out and make my own harness that goes thru without any damn pins or connectors in it.

was all going ok, took some time like, got 9 wires in each door i have put in (LED mirrors, central locking, speakers, solinoids, buttons on mirrors) so all fit nice in their own harness now

also noticed several had snagged on the window winder and were VERY close to touching!! patched these up

anyways, got all speakers in now, runing off amp, just need to sort out tweeter position and get some decent amp cable and itssorted, besides the sanding down and spraying bit lol

looks/sounds very good indeed, chuffed!

sounds good mate, on jag corsa we had to lengthen the wires by bout 12inches due to the movement, so much soldering, with car having electric everything also was a pain! bout 20-25wires in each, then to stop cluttering it with more wires with swapped the ones that i didnt need and ran the indicator wires through them and wires for button in my mirriors, then i can release the wiring if i need to also! works well but was lot of work!

cant wait to c the doors all done, gonna look class

looks great. If it gets painted I think some alcantra (sp?) strips on the arm rest would be practical and look cool.
