I can't help thinking anyone who actually reads the listings wouldn't fall for it. I didn't really want to say it directly to the guy but one minute to go at a fiver maybe, 132 quid I'd be looking over it more carefully.

thing is, he IS selling something legal
its not on ebays NOT allowed list
and bigger fool him for bidding, buying AND paying for it
i can sell a link for 50p for example, not my fault if people start bidding silly money on it as it DOES state in black and white what exactly the item is
ONE MORE WORD OF WARNING
on ebay there is a coloured background you can use as normal, thinks its dark blue or black, and there is also a font colour very similar
some scammers use this combination to hide text so its invisable - but it is actually there so they can not be done for it
if u see a large gap (ill try find an example today) edit-select all and it will show you if there is any text on the page that would normally be missed (or copy the lot into a word document)
not heard of many people doing it so far but definatly seen it myself
kind of like this ---> ure not actually buying a phone but a link to a phone dumb ass

Definately his own fault - the only person he can get upset with is himself!
If the auction clearly stated it was a link (no matter how small "small print" is, you can still read it) and wasn't hidden like Mart's suggested then it's all above board and fair play to the seller for getting £132 from it!
The link auctions obviously seem like a bit of a scam, but they can be useful and most people know they're bidding on a link so...
