maybe, but off day is now becoming more popular than general chat. this site isnt being used for what it should be, its turned into more of a chat forum than a car forum. Too much porn n shit being posted by people

I disagree completely, there are more than enough Corsas to make up a stand, we've proved that on a number of occasions.

I like the fact we do keep people and I do agree its a concern, but the maths of it are not that everyone sells their Corsa and there's no Corsa owners left. There are plenty, they're just dilute.

Maybe if I didn't have to remove a load of snide replies about how shit Corsas I wouldn't feel like this but I am a little annoyed that some people whose responses I've removed want the poking of jokes to drown out the core efforts.

I think the website has been a mighty success and remains so - theres always that percentage who want to cause reaction by making a comment, the internet in general is rife with it. I dont own a corsa anymore, i only had it for 8 months but the people on here that ive got to know have been great and im not about to leave the place because of the minority that try and ruin it.

Keep up the good work Ian and Tim i think your doing an outstanding job.

Thanks, and can I add the other staff who are up for organising things even if they don't come off for whatever reason.

Cheers chaps.

i must say ive been organsing kent modified and all ive managed to get is 7 maybe 8 cars, really gratefull to those who are participating and some people genuinally cant make it... but surely... the reason we have this hobby is bcos we get satisfaction out of it... and at the end of the day showing ya car and people looking round it and asking questions gives satisfaction.... hope we re-realise this soon... lets make trax a revival guys

p.s we'l hold up the corsasport name down here at kent modified and if anyone else is interested u2u me

Donny South IMO was a good show last year and a very good turn out for CorsaSport!

I feel comments that all the shows are full of crap is fine but stating it at every opportunity is just pointless IMO if thats your opionion then why get so botherd about it!

Obviously alot of people enjoyt eh cars that are at shows otherwise they would not be that way and be so popular!

And also comments on peoples car are more personal attacks these days, if you dont like corsas why bother looking and if you do constuctive comments are better than its shit its a corsa!

IMO the site has gone downhill in some areas but better in others, there does seem to be a few people that are out to put anyone down at any given opportunity(as i will be in a post or 2 no doubt) on something they have said or something they have done to their car!

I feel the organisation team and all staff on the site are doing a great job. I think that maybe it is time for the site to consider allowing other members of the non-corsa side of the site to join us at shows, they could be positioned at 1 side of the stand or the back, i think it wud be gud for the site.

I feel we need to organise the shows and gte pictures and all the info up on the baord really early!
People these days are lazy and stressed with work and the last thing they want to be doing is looking for some show details etc!
Such a shame about donny south, still waiting to hear about trax and persuade trotty to extend the deadline!
But i feel the team is doing a good job but people are making more critisism rather than it being constructive!

how can a corsasport forum be anything other than corsas?? there's plenty of other forums for different cars but i reckon its nice to have one just about corsa's purely for modification advice! My old man owns an S2000 and goes on a forum for it. They go out for drives round good roads and end up having lunch in a pub. I reckon this would be a good idea, id be more inclined to go to a meet if there was gonna be a drive out at some point.

But aren't most corsa's around modified so they can be looked at and not driven?

Quite a few ppl are going up to 2ltr's but most ppl have lower spec cars that are better to look at, rather than drive.

An sS200 is ment to be driven ... fast

maybe true, dunno if am speakin for everyone but i only drive a 1.2 8v, but cos of the suspension kit and wheels it handles wickedly an is still great fun to throw around even tho its slow as shit. Reckon it would be a giggle... an if people weren't up for tearing around we could just go for a leisurly drive somewhere. Imagine 30 modified corsa's drivin thru a town, would be ace!

Then why dont you arrange this for your region?

Meet in one place, arrange to go for a meal, then drive to where ur going?

In SW we usually all go out for a meal together, then if the lads want to they drive somewhere to take some piccies of the cars and stuff...

Imagine 80+ corsa's in a park lined up in 2 rows

not everyone with a highly modified corsa is wanting to show at donny south or people maybe just can't be arsed. it's the summer, people are on holiday, maybe going to other shows later on, maybe they are working on the cars at the mo for a bigger show, I think you'll just have to live with it.
