Big bolt that holds the shocker to the car, can i get it off i dont think so how tight is that bastard thing lol

Any ideas how to get it off

The top one or the one on the rear beam?

on the top of the strut there are two bolts the top is slightly smaller, and you need to hold one bolt while turning the other to get the shock off IIRC

no the one at the bottom of the shock under the car. Just cant get it lose?

Thinkin bout buying a power wrench?

just make sure you have the right bolt size an then use a bigger extension bar for mor leverage

i had this problem, u need a deep socket, then get a bit of metal pipe and attach it to end then try it

Use a long extension on your socket wrench so that you can get leverage on it. If you haven't already, go spray lots of WD40 on the nut thats welded in at the back.....

I take it all i have to do is undo that one bolt, i dont need to get to the back of the bolt or anything?

yer u need the power of heman to undo it, both me and my dad had a go at it and were not weak lads and eventually it came off, but not before both are arms were feeling slightly worse for wear!

spray sum wd40 on it and leave it for an hour then try it again might help things go a little better!
