I found out the other day that a very good friend of mine, who i have worked the doors with, is dying of cancer. He's literally living his last days.

I found out that it started in his private regions, and spread upwards & downwards. He ignored the pain for a long time, about a year i believe. He thought the pain would go away. He finally swallowed his pride and got it checked out, to be told the cancer had spread throughout his body.
He used to bloody huge, an amimal in the gym. He's lost alot of size over a period of time, i just thought he'd slacked off on his training.

The club we used to work at hired the VIP section out for him last night and charged a tenner for entry, all the money was going to him (well, his missus)

He's only 26 and his missus hasn't long give birth to their baby boy. Such a waste.
I cant believe how well he's took it on the chin. He's soldiering on and wants to go peacefully, he's keeping his chin up so those close to him remembers him for who he is.

Just thought i'd share this with you, it is a very sad situation and we're all guilty of ignoring little pains etc (well, i am). It just goes to show it can happen to the best of them.

Terrible news mate.

Takes some strength of character to keep his chin up and keep his dignity in tact.

A guy who I used to work with at my old job was diagnosed with cancer & given 3 or 4 months to live, but died a week later
Real shame as he was a REALLY nice, genuine guy

I hate storys like this, makes you think though guys & gals.

Every night could be the last night so make sure you always say bye and kiss the ones you love because...

It could be the last time !

ps - my friends mate had cancer and we all went out to a car show one evening, anyway when i heard he was due to die the next day i was so shocked and felt sooooo bad

He bought me a drink and said drink it on me as money is nothing to me anymore.

I got dropped off home and i said bye to him and yes it was the "last bye" he died the next day !

Soooo enjoy every minute with the ones you love

I'm sure thats a rare tale someone actually dying on the exact day they were told Thought they were just given a rough idea like 3 or 4 months.

Thanks for the thoughts & concerns peeps

He'll get a good send off, he's very well known in many areas. Top man.

It's certainly highlighted how i take things for granted in life.
