bought a gsi last week. insurrance sed yey no prob, wont be that much dearer than my 1.4.

rang up today and they want 5k

im on my mums insurance too so....what a twat, got to sell my gsi

if its on your mums policy....... its your mums problem.... not yours

you can cancel.... but will more then likely have to pay a cancelation fee

tis fekin stupid price that quote!

I'm 22 with no NCB, and the cheapest quote I got was £1480 FC on a GSI with a 2ltr dropped in!

Dude, dont know who your with but if your on someone else's policy try Tesco! there cheap as chips for me and i was on a V6 @ 20 0NCB £1,300 on a mates insurance!

well im certain mate cos i ended my last policy when i got my corsasport cos cis were being silly with there quotes n i still had 5 months to go paying monthly n i ended it its not like a mobile phone 12 month contract or anything like that its ur perogotive (sp) to finish it when u want to.

£5k is way too expensive on ur mums. should be around 1000-1500 depending on claim discount.

just ask how much it will be to cancel the insurance and ring norwich union up or something

Suspend your mums policy rather than cancel it, then you can put it on another car if she gets one.

You got any no claims yourself?

Its going to expensive either way, its a group 11 car.
