Basiclaly the laquer is coming off. And then the paint is bubbling. And going yellow

i've heard this is a problem mainly with the X1 model... sumone else on here had the same problem i am sure.

I know barryastra's old 5 spoke dare rls things were all ffucked at the laquer andshit.

yeh i had v2s for about a year and didnt have any problems... well there was the od tiny bit of "yellowing " around the edges of spokes with brake dust but nothin major.

Take them back if there only 4month old

laquer peel , i have this on my alu lip but my wheels where factory seconds because of this , i need my lips redone but its not cheap

yes, havin problems as i brought them from SWT.

All i can say is dont do the same

did someone say customer service? (someone in swts office goes "whats that?")

Yeah - take em back.Remind them of their responsibility under the Consumer Goods Act 1992 (to supply goods of merchandisable quality and fit for the purposes they're being sold). Wheels with peeling lacquer after 4 months don't fit this description IMO

didnt realise how bad urs were - Ive got the same problem on two of my wheels - but not to the same degree - mines more inside the rim - so not as noticable - Id just go to SWT and take them off the car in the car park - and get there email address and send them these pictures - also contact dare-motorsport.co.uk

could it be something youve used to clean them? If not then if dare are a half decent company they should at least exchange them for you

no its the surface finish on them - they have a darker shinier finish that seems to be sprayed over a base coat - its this surface finish that bubbles and then cracks and breaks off - nothing dowith cleaning IMO
