At least £1k id think for a new hood.
Check for rotten front wheel inner arches - worst problem these cars have!

yer got a list of checkpoints from my missuses dad who is a bit of an expert, mate was trying to tell me you could get them for 300 quid last nite 
found a website that do them for 425 but you got fitting on top and its a oem part....
not sold the tubby yet have put it on autotrader for a few weeks an today, keep having sales fall through. But got to test drive some and check whats out there before i buy
