i need to take my dash out to be sprayed but the people who fitted my alarm have mounted the valet butten and led statas light on there i have had alook behind the 2 and there is no connecter its just a wire straight into them if i cut these 2wires wot will hapen they will be reconected after the dash is sprayed

There will be a connector... close to the brain IIRC... failing that, cutting the wires won't be a problem, so long as you re-connect them correctly.

I removed the dash in the Fiesta and just disconnected both the LED & valet button. From the LED & the valet button the connectors are no more than 15cm down the wires

Yeah. the connectors are very close to the light/buttons, just disconnect em and pull the wire out.

i moved mine fro the air circ switch to the MFD and the switch in the glove box. the conectors for these were in the wire loom that goes on the under bit of the glove box. then they just pull out.

you'll prob need to unscrew the center consol too tho

Had 2 sets of bullett connectors bout 5 inch along the wire from the LED and Valet buttons.
