Just got my new work mobile (Nokia 6230) which is working fine apart from it has a little G on the display in the top left corner of the screen.
I guess this is something to do with GRPS connection but it's allways there and doesn't go away even if it's switched off. Is this right??

Think its because GPRS is connected all the time you just get charged for when you use it in the amount of data you send/receive. I have the little G on my 6600 too, but I managed to turn it off somehow on mine after a few weeks.

yeah it is GPRS
doesn't mean your connected though, just means you can access the service.
If your connected, then where the lil phone appears when your making a call, it will be an even smaller G instead!

you can go to the options and turn it off if you're not using it.
