Is the Sony PS2 Multi Region ie will it play region 1 DVDs?

Also, is my computer likely to be multi region?

pc will probs be multi-region, but the ps2 isnt!

get a region x disk it will be then...

PS2 will only play region 2 and region X/0 DVDs.
I think the older ones only play region 2, because mine doesn't play region free DVDs.
And you can get a program called DVD Region-Free for the computer, that lets you play other region DVDs. I use that, great program.
