i got a new knob which looks easy enough to go on with an allen key. but how do i get my old one off? i swear i read something like you have to get the bit in the middle bit off and then rip it out from the inside or something? i started doing that, but then looked in my max power haynes book for corsas and it said just pull it really hard?

at this point i aint actually tried _really_ hard as such but it really doesnt feel like its gonna come off.

shall i just keep trying?

just give it a good yank. Failing that, chop it up, might make a mess though.

Broster pull his hard and it just came off in his hand.

"Try harder i pulled mine off and let go and it flew out of the sunroof and onto the car next to me." - Did it go in their eye?
