I know this should be in help an mod forum, but i need a quick reply cos i gotta go offline soon !!!
My problem is that as i was drivin along tonight, my car suddenly became more hesitant, and hardly had any power. I turned my music down and opened my window and it was misfiring. What could have caused this to just suddenly happen ???? cos i ain't driven through any big puddles and had only just been to fill up with petrol (yes i did put unleaded in !!!).
Cheers
Steve

check the plugs/leads etc etc, give em all a clean. Could be one of a number of things tbh so always start with the cheapest option.

My first thought was plugs, but the 1.0 ain't got leads, its just a bar thing. I'll whip that off 2morrow an have a look. The engine management light didn't come on though ???? I hope the petrol ain't a dodgy batch, i just put £20 in !!!! Do u reckon it could have been some crap in the bottom of the tank ???

possible, depends how low it got before you filled up. could be a split pipe too, air leak making it overfuel like a bitch maybe

Change the plugs then if its due a service, easy enough to do and see if that helps. Other than that i dont know what to suggest, not an expert on vaux engines sorry.

If its misfiring, then unburnt fuel will be going down to the cat. Id avoid driving it as you can damage the cat, and they aint cheap to sort out.
