It is a "Front Silencer" yeah. My current centre section has a hole in it and sounds awful so thought I'd kill to birds with one stone.

I haven't been in the car since I fitted the K&N Filter, so am yet to feel the 'increased horsepower and acceleration'

I'm not fussed about loudness - last rthing I want is to make it sound like some sportscar, then my 1.2 turns up - it would just be an anti-climax with the joke on me.

I want a high quality stainless exhaust that sounds nice and looks good - and won't rust - so I'm dead happy - or will be once its on!

I had the exhaust fitted yesterday morning. Took it to a local tyre and exhaust place. I dind't fancy it 'cos the centre pipes one long section down the car - so I let them have the fun of taking it off.

Pics of the finished Exhaust. I'm really pleased with it - so happy that I ended up with the twin oval one and not the single. Glad didn't have to pay the rrp of £180 for it too

Thanks for the comments - 50 views since the pics went up and only three posts!

The exhaust has a lifetime warranty and won't be rusting - but I see what you mean about the black piping.

My centre section replaces one with a hole in it, so its hard to say if its lost any power or not - it feels the same to me, but strangely its 'nicer' to drive and go through the gears.

Thanks guys. There's others on here which I like a lot - but I'm at a point with mine where I'm really happy.

I can't think of anything else I'd like to do with it.

I was thinking of rear component spekers with the tweeters mounted in the C pillars, and a 1.6 Conversion, but I don't know where to start looking for all the gubbins that I'd need to do it.

Mark - I love that spoiler. What is it? Looks like Timmy's Steiny one (which I'd get) but slightly different.

I still want Steiny Mirrors - but don't want to pay £140 each for them!

I want a 1.6, but surely I'd need the loom, gear box, ignition and immobiliser etc etc - surely that means I'd have to get it from a Corsa Donor car??

Where'd you source that from Kris? I won't copy dont worry. Is it plastic or fibreglass, and how does it fit?

J0hn, Here my reply

tints, - Not Tinting the front may make it look strange. Its already got a tint as standard so can't even risk going darker on the fronts.

debadge, - Debadged it once, then re-badged it - now I'm undecided on smoothing it in this way - whats everyone else think?

spoiler, - Tempted by Steiny one - but can take it or leave it (I think)

new mesh grill, - Wouldn't buy a meshed one - and don't want to get rif od the Kamei - why? thought about the FK one, then changed my mind cos the Kamei lines up really nicely with the Air Dam.

smooth bodywork - would just crack when the bits flexed

clusters? - Aren't any good ones available

Smoked ones! - thought about it, then decided its not really worth it. Imo just cos you can change something doesn't necessarily mean its always best to do so

Now lets talk about 1.6s

On the perfomance side, the sound is no different. Maybe I've lost a bit of pressure but if I have its nothing noticable.

This exhaust should support a 1.6 - says it will in the paperwork and on the labels.

BTW, I've got a Remus Racing sticker - what should I do with it?? Back window, bin?

I get a K&N one if I register it
