got rear ended by a mate about 30min ago bracked to miss a rabit and he hit the back of me we where only doing 30mph as well




any ideas what i should do get rid and get a new car or get it fixed

Rear bumper, and crash bar... Shouldn't be overly expensive... No point in getting a new car, cos you'll get no money for that one in that state.

no there are no buckles in the roof and all the doors close ok apart from the boot but apart from that every thing is ok

Ya rear quarter is whats gonna cos the money, they ave to cut out the existing quarter and weld a new one in, i had it done recently, as long as ya boot floor aint creased ya will be ok

the floor is abit creased right behind the back lights and along the very back of the floor the boot lid will need replaced coz it is bent abit on the bottom and wont close right

i slammed into the back of a saxo in january. not a mark on the outside and the blonde bitch was too stupid to check out her boot!! lucky escape for me there (phew) hope u can get it sorted dude

A creased boot means JIG time, this is gonna cost you BIG time at a decent bodyshop ya looking at £1000+

thats what i thought to be honest but i dont know what i am going to do with it yet might see if i can get anouther and swop engine over and so on

Nah i dont brake for much either, i used to not bother brakein for dogs untill i hit a big fucker which inturn caused me to have to invest in a front end re-spray brand new GSI bumper & fog lights and have a dent taken out me bonnet, dog was ok though lol

Claim off your mate for driving too close, and not watching the car in front? He should have been travelling far enough behind to judge your braking, and be able to adjust his speed accordingly...

As an addition, I would have hit the rabbit aswell......had one run under the car on the motorway, didn't even attempt to swerve at 70mph because it could have hurt so just straight-lined it, heard the rabbit's head bounce a few times off the underside of the car.

from what i can see , is that ur back panel is in etc, prob minor crease to boot floor.

Will need back panel pused out/repaired.

and new bunper/bar and tailagte

yes thats put on a jig it will get done right and the rear quater is not to bad now coz i went up to se my mate last night and and we puled it out abit just so i could get a light back in and the rear quater poped back out wich was lucky to be honest so thats ok but it is still going to be a big job tho
