7k for the corsa turbo, the guy who offered said he would come up the same day and give me the cash, i turned it down as it's my toy and i want to play with it

currently stands at 5200 or thereabouts including price of the car, i've spent about 7k but sold nearly 2k's worth of gear when doing the conversion and other bits

I would. It's pretty rare to get back more than what you've spent, and then you can get something super cool for 7k, although I can understand the hesitation as you'll be losing a real sleeper...

well my plans are to buy a wrx scooby then i have a car to drive, strip the corsa, have a play with it, re-sort the engine, spray it another colour and make it look fairly standard/subtley styled. and while im doing all this to the corsa, i still have a decent motor to drive

well it makes sense, i've scrapped the idea of doing a track corsa now, as i don't think i'll go enough, i am selling lots of c20let parts by the way if anyone wants to u2u me about em, going to keep the engines though as i fancy taking them to bits and having a bit of an experiment

anyone want a bare corsa bodyshell

in my opinion, yeah your stupid!

but it all depends how much you want to keep your car, its something you built yourself and should be proud of, so I can see why you wouldnt want someone else thrashing it around.

But you gotta remember, 7k can buy a whole lot more car than a vaux corsa!!

depends what you want from the car, but seeing as its a 2.0ltr turbo corsa lets assume he wants pure outright speed / performance / tune-ability

7k will get you:

A decent, low-ish miles 200SX (S14) with some change to spend on getting her up to 300bhp

SELL then buy a really cheap corsa to do at the weekends instead of completly re-doing yours, and buy a decentish car for everyday!

well i've spent a fair amount on the engine, and although it's running well and it hasn't yet had major problems, i've never really had a good play with it, and this is just how i am i like messing with engines, especially now i've got my own place with a double garage, i now have proper room to mess about

u aint gonna be able to make that black one into a sleeper anyway as the arches have been hacked off

Sell it get something really quick and 4wd to start with imo ....

Ur mad to turn down that amount of money for a corsa!! i can understand if you have put a lot of time and effort in, but the way i look at it you could get a whole lot of car for 7k eg scooby rx7 cossie etc
