Saving for something newer and come April I will have my first years no claims. Drove the first two years under my mums name.
The area is Norfolk, so the insurance shouldn't be too bad.
Looking for something fast, want 4 seats and it must be fairly new. Gonna be looking at spending up £7-10K for the car possibly.
Don't want something that is going to require modding really.
Really like the Mk4 Astra SRi Turbo/Gsi.

I'd hazard a guess you'd be paying circa 2-2.5k not worth it imo

im 21 now, but when i was 19 with only 1 year driving NO NCB it was about £1800 on my name Fully Comp on a corsa Gsi group 10!!! and now that i look back, it wasnt worth it!!
you will be able to get insurance, just it might be very high! so not worth it! but your driving experience and NCB will help you loads.....but my advice is just WAIT...... till your 21, it makes a pretty big difference on insurance

u can get 1.8 astra coupe's dead cheap on insurance, got a quote of just over £1k fully comp. driving 1 year and no ncb.. just didn't ave the £££ at the time to buy the car
I think the SRi/Turbo/GSi will be too much on the insurance really mate, but then agen if u buy a basic model then you'll probably spend far more extra £££ modding it than u wud paying extra on insurance on a car that doesn't require much modding!

If the Astra GSi is the same IG as our Zafira GSi then I would rule it out for a long long time, lol. My Dad's 53 with 5yrs protected NC bonus and the cheepest quote he got was £600 Fully comp. some of the insurance companies wouldn't even touch it. Its an extra £1500 to put me on it.
