hello, later im gonna take out some stuff out of my corsa c and have a blast down the a66 to see of theres any improvement.

i was thinking:

taking everything out of the glove box
taking back headrests out
taking spare wheel and kit out.

is there anything else i can take out thats easy to put back in?

Rear wiper motor is easy to remove and surprizingly ( @ spelling)heavy

seats - you need a torx-bit (cant remember size), just unbolt & pull - job done!

easy things to take out that weigh alot:

rear seat bench
spare wheel

u2u jr or paulw they will give you some ideas

Weigh the contents of your glove box and compare that to, for example, a seat. Now tell me if you're asking daft questions

The answer is yes - saving weight makes your car quicker. However the car weighs over a tonne, your headrests are not a large percentage of this!

You need to be more brutal with such an approach to really see a difference.
