Woops broke a balljoint at 70, hit a curb and spun. Somehow landed in a safe position. Me check it out, no probs, everythings ok just need RAC. This is where it all goes to poo. This started at 80, the truck arrived at 8:50, but we dont managed to get it on, wrong truck

So call dad to see whats what, anyway later I get told to ring RAC again for another truck I didn't expect my dad to come but he came anyway, next thing I know, some las in a Rover 414 has rear ended him at well over 50 as he is turning right. The whole back end of his 52 reg Hyundai coupe is ruined.

Long story short, he gets taken to hostpital, I 'clean' his car out before it gets toed, the cars get removed and my truck comes and takes me home at 11:45.

Dads had a bump on the head but is ok, his car didn't look too bad, the Rover was in a state but could be rolled amazingly. The coupe had jammed rear wheels, mostly body work damage but wrote off nonetheless.

I was kinda to blame, along with the RAC sending wrong truck, my car, is fine, just needs new balljoint and driveshaft popped back in. Feel sorry for the las and me dad. Must have been a hard impact, his seat was flat back, I dunno if they should do this

So eventful night, but no one was hurt thankfully.

I fail to see how you are to blame. you did not run into the back of your dads car

Yeah that sounds like the rover I remember tv on the dash, she seemed ok, just upset. I think she had a police officer with or someone, not her dad but another guy anyway she went to the hostpital. Lucky the rover had driver+passenger airbags.

My car is drivable now, although not safely.

Put balljoints on, driveshaft back in, took it for a drive and the tracking needed doing. Went to a garage, they couldn't do it, so i had a look under the car on the lifts. No chassis damage, I assume the damage is in the suspension strut, cos the wheel is sitting leaning out over. Its getting looked at another garage this afternoon. I may need a new rack
