the chain on my bike is slipping when i change gears...

have no idea how to adjust the tension to get it right.



what am i supposed to be twiddling and how much?
been fannying around with those H and L screws but still can't get it right

the H limits the travel of the S turn so it doesnt go past the High gear, the L does the same for the low, to set up the gearing select a certain gear, then tighten/loosen the gearing cable so the chain sits directly over that gear.

thats about all i know about them.
