No the 2.0 as found in the 306/xsara sits too high up.

The 2.0 can be fit, it was done by some crazy dutch bastards in Holland.

But it did cost them a shed load and ruined the handling of the car with so much weight upfront.

If you have some cash to spend, get it supercharged or turbo charged.

Both done probably will cost £5k+ depending on what bits extra you need. (clutch, mounts, suspension, manifold, exhaust, etc...)
