could well be. Has a nice rubber strap too to keep the packet of cocaine secure whilst driving

yes, i did think this but when i got the corsa (from new) all of the tools and jack was in the spare wheel well.
Only think i can think of is a CD changer, but i dont think corsa's ever came with one

mine also has a strap...
i remarked to my m8 (who has a new astra) that he has a similar thing in his boot (also with a strap) and he said he thinks it to hold the first aid stuff
which sounds about right to me... must have been an optional extra "a 1st aid pack"
my 2p worth

If you look through the EPC catalogue there's a heated takeaway storage container that's designed to fit straight in.
It clips into place and the straps hold the lid on when you've got food inside.
If you remove your rear qtr panel you'll probably find the wiring for the heating element - mine was taped up with the boot light.
Great for keeping the curry warm if you've got a few miles till you get home.

HAHAHAHAHA MINT that will have to get me one to make use of the space
although first aid kit does sound probable eitherway, its an arse of wasted space if you havnt got the first aid kit or curry heater ( )
