right getting a 2nd car for a runaround.

shortlisted the following

Fiesta 1.6 Zetec - S <good handling, group 8 insurance>
Corsa C 1.4 SRi <cheapest insurance of the 3>
Toyota yaris T Sport <most rapid of the 3>

All seem to be about 40mpg average which is what i need really, veccy does about 24mpg

Never really looked into the luke warm hatch market, dont know much about the above cars except that the fiesta is a good handler.

any comments or experiences on the above welcome

sorry really couldnt have a saxo, ive had 2 106 rallyes they are ok, but wouldnt go french again.

forget to say budget 7k max, which is pushing it for a t sport yaris i think.

zs, faster than the corsa, handles better but i dont know much about yaris tbh

Why do you want a run around

Cheaper on the petrol yeah....but its not going to save you money! Runaround IMO is a £200 shitter not a £7k luke warm hatch

im getting a sports bike end of july, Eventually vectra will be going, so bike for thrills and small car for commuting etc.

Just say to hell with it, Sell the Vecy, don't bother with the bike and Buy a Mk1 Lotus Elise. They go for about £14,000 for a good Mk1 1.8.

try keeping up with it though.
Quality car really although new one is better with toyota engine as the K series engine is dodgey as fuck

elises are shite and a magnet for problems

go for the corsa out of those as it will be cheapest to maintain and run
