How are they with modifications?

Rach got her 17's ready to go on and they want £45 quid extra for that, which is fine.

Now she wants to fit her lowering springs, you reckon its worth declaring as long as the wheels are declared there are no other mods.

not on diamond Ollie mate + I aint a gurl but I aint declared my springs so I dont think I would bother personally, but thats my opinion.

Yeah I think I will tell her not to bother.

As long as the wheels are covered it will be fine.

What springs would be best with standard shocks, I know its not a ideal combo but its just until she has the money for some Koni's

I got apex -40mm on standard shocks, etc and its not too bad and I DID get a -40mm drop which is Eiback/G-Max/Apex springs are cool until u got the £££ and buy some FK coilovers

PI springs are wank

I had them on my SXi and they dropped and were harsh.

fair enough

never used them. only got the set for the shocks. but when i swapped them with my old shocks i noticed that the -50m PI springs were shorter than my spax -60mm springs

Yeah Pi springs lower the car a hell of a lot more than anything else I have ever seen.
