mine are cav ones too.
pretty much a straight fit, only thing i used was where they screw on, i used the corsa mounting rather than the cav one as its a different shape.
very very easy to do that

Its external - just shorter than the corsa one- about 6 inches instead of 9 so it slightly less profile-like.

screws on the same I've heard.

Sorry Kris - didn't realise the post was yours - forget about the 2ltr ideas

Is this going to vauxhall and them fitting the new stuff as well?

Ive always fancied leccy windows like, any idea how much they would charge from Vaux?

Vaux more than likely woundn't do it, although year ago when I was first looking into it one garage said they sold a kit for £210. Never saw it or anything though.

Vauxhall would more than likely say its a 'factory fit' option therefore wouldn't do it to a car on the road.

Well I've just been and picked up the external aerial for a Frontera A from Vauxhall and it's no shorter it was a special order so I couldn't return it. But because it's just one bit of wire, without the silly wire twirling around it like Corsa B, I can cut it down and re-cap it, as advised by the parts guy that did the same with his Nova aerial.

You can, but you might not be able to cap it.

What do you mean the dates? It saves creating a new thread

Well, the aerial didn't fit. It was a different thread and I can't return it 'cause it was a special order.

Anyone need a Frontera A aerial?

I take it that it must be the Frontera B one that fits
