........ to take 3 points for someone who got caught going through a red light and got a letter through today. he cant afford to get any more points on his licence or he'll be banned

is it worth it?? baring in mind im skint and am goin on holiday for 2 weeks in a month, and havent saved anything up yet, and im a student and earn £200 a month

at the moment im on company insurance and will be for at least another 18 months so it wont affect my insurance, but i'll be gettin my own insurace after that, will it make that much more expensive??

Don't do it...

For one, I'd prefer someone who takes the risk of running a red light NOT to have a licence in the first place, so I'd prefer him to be banned.

For two, your insurance premiums are going to go up (once you start on your own policy - have your current company DEFINITELY said it won't go up with points, as you still have to inform them), as they'll see you as someone who runs red lights and has three points on their licence.

thats the loophole in the police law, but i think they've cottoned onto it and they will probably stop it happening

i dont think im gonna bother doin it myself, my insurance would porbably cost me more than the 500 i make anyway, in the long run.

plus theres always the possibility i could get caught speeding a couple of times, not that i drive round like a nutter or nething, but we all break the limit sometimes.

ne1 whos interested in taking them i'll contact if my mate dont wanna do it
