I am wanting to get remote central locking, on my 1999 corsa B, and have been offered a Vectra Pod. this is the round thing with the lock and unlock button (without sounding too camp, its in the shape of a tear drop!)
Would this work as my dad had the same key fob on his Omega.
And if it would then what would i need - other than the fob.

if it is matched to a car then get the control module from that car ( on a vectra its in the drivers kickpanel. unplug it and plug it in place of your factory CDl module.
that works. I use mine daily on a combo van.
