not forgetting beckhams penalty, would be game set and match if we scored that. Take him off pens ffs his mind isnt on it, the blokes been off form at madrid for a while now since all that affair lark. Feel sorry for James as he had no choice but to take Henry out, lucky he wasn't sent off cause I wouldn't fancy walkabout in goal

they could have put heskey in goal, the fat cnut would take up so much of the goal anyway, would be hard to score plus he is great at diving

The real villians are heskey/gerrard, god only knows what he was thinking with the backpass thats serious lack of concentration there at a stupidly vital time. No professional and 'world class' player should do that

No because at least roon won a penalty which gave us a 50/50 chance of scoring, vassel's chance would have been harder than a penalty. What lost the game was the lack of concentration at important times and losing their bottle when it was really needed
