my car is pretty much fucked, as im sure u all know now and im waitin on a price for the timing belt to be done and also to see if i have bent any valves

in the worst cased scenario im gunna break the gsi and sell it part by part,

wot do u reckon i would get for it in total?
bearing in mind front bumper needs plastic welding, timing belt has gone, and full drivers side is fcuked

bumper shouldn't cost much... just rang my uncle he said it should only cost between £40-£60 to do, depending on how much paint & cost of paint. (well, thats how much he would charge, bodyshops may charge double)

engine - depends where you can get parts from & damage, could be anything between £150-£500+

Or else what exactly? If the V5 is in your name then it's your car and ur Dad can't dictate to you what you're to do

Leccy windows -think someone is actually looking for these in the "wanted section".

my cam belt didn't snap, but the tensioner broke cos someone forgot the bolt , i drove it for quite a bit, and kept getting pissed off with its terrible performance, was almost like pulling away in 5th

luckily i didn't bend any valves still cost about £400 to put right tho
