PMSL at this, spoke to Courtneay at PVS and asked them how much it would be to fit a 2.0 16 into my car they said that they wouldn't do it becuase they couldn't garuntee that the engine would work (apparently cos the milage is too high in C20XE's now).

I then told them that I have a working C20XE which has got 87,000 on it, which is going to be partly re-built to get it going smoothly and that I could provide the fitting kit too. Guess how much they quoted me to fit the engine - bearing in mind I will be providing everything -

That does look like a superb job though, not worth 15k but still very good.

But how many Corsa C Turbo's do you see about?

They probably charged him that amount to cover development costs - future conversions shouldn't cost as much... but probably will

But do you really think they should charge him development costs? I know I wouldn't pay for a company to experiment on my car, I would pay for the engine and other parts...

Cos it was fun spending over £20k on a Corsa I guess... Hmm makes less sense the more I think about it, though it is a very unique car, I doubt many other people in the world have done that conversion ever...

Cossvaux said that if I let them have my car to try the C conversion from 1.2 to Z20LET that I would only have to pay for engine and parts, and an optional gratuity fee for their time. They just asked that I get my car stickered up and go to all the shows with them...

Still can't remember why I dint do it, oh thats it... Insurance came in at summat like £6k
