Novas are harder than Corsas, they have sharper edges and those arches are sex.

Yep. Whether it be 0-60 or acceleration thru the gears.

My bro's nova ran a 14.6 @ Santa pod with only induction kit + full zaust. A corsa valver dont get anywhere near that. Once it was chipped, cammed, it was even more mental. The torque steer was unreal.

my m8s revo chipped cupra ran 14.3 with a crap start, and my cousin's oettinger chipped cupra has beaten, somewhat convincingly, clio cups, 172s, 182s, corsa XE, CTR etc etc in real world racing (i.e. on the road!!) its also managed to have the edge over focus rs' in a straight line

ive seen a throttle bodied 1.6GSi nova piss all over a WRX and a clio 182. Cupra turbo - 14.3 doesn't surprise me. I want a civic type R with nos and a GReddy turbo conversion - then we have some fun with focus RS's

they do somethign for 1 hour, but instaed of taking it back to the orginal settings it takes it below that, so your car is shit slow, and you feel you need the revo software to make it fast

yes I dispute that. evo can't record times for shit. they have the 0-60 of the punto GT as 8s untested yet the 0-62 book figure is 7.9. sorry but evo figures suck ass. low to mid 16s. focus RS, clio cup, CTR are all roughtly the same speed 0-100 and 1/4 mile.

the 1.8 20VT in the a3 has variable valve timing whereas it doesnt in the seats i think.

revo is the dodgiest because they get their gains from running bigger boost from what is quite a small turbo, most other chippers only give a small increase in boost with a bit more fettling for their gains.

superchips are shite. AMD, Jabba do RR mapping. revo, APR, AMD, ubsolute do the ECU flashing.

Why oh why do people go on and on arguing over like a second or two tenths of a second etc etc. If the drivers w*nk then the cars slow if the drivers good then the cars fast. This however is excepted from my 1.0 12v corsa c which would still be slow even if colin f*ckin McCrae was drivin it. I know this so I accept that my car is not fast dare I say that some other people shud do the same????!!!
