5-6 months ago I made a claim against the council regarding hitting a pot hole and a 2 week old tyre bursting instantly.
Seeing as I was not even doing 25mph in a 30 I made a claim.
6 months on I got a nice cheque this morning 
(Just for those that wondered how it went)

Sent a letter to the Council, they sent me a few forms filled them in replied then waited 6 months

mate of mine claimed for a massitaly 18" rim and two new tyres from the council after he hit a pothole at 30mph (40limit) and it buckled a rim!
