just knocked at mine and said her car wouldn't go into reverse. I tried but couldn't get it in either so i pushed it back for her so she could get out the road. It as a Audi A8 3 door BTW.

That was my good deed for the day

Felt a bit ashamed though as my flat stunk of burnt food and i had my toolbox and drill out puting down some carpet grippers

A3 yesh that's the 1. Just looked on Autotrader.

I gear knob fell off in my hand when i was trying to put it into reverse

It was a V reg, on the clock said 35k but my 106 is in better cond.
