Gearing in my corsa seems very low to me, only does 50 in second whereas my gti pulled to over 60 in second, i thought the gearing would be longer in the gsi

they do only do 50ish in second, thats one reason whey the gti has a lowish 0-60 i believe as it is 1 less gear change than the gsi???

Can't beat Vauxhalls for running costs

Stephen, the Corsa will do 56mph in 2nd gear.

The intresting thing is, is that the Corsa can reach the limiter in 2nd in around 7.5 seconds, its just those last 4mph and the gear change that ups the 0-60 time.

shite! so a decent inlet manifold, zorst, induction, and a unichip to raise rev limit can see a GSI hitting 0-60 in roughly 7 seconds!!!
