i don't want to pay that tho, insurance will go up to about 1.4k, paying 1k on the Gsi fully comp.

3K very cheap I think.

does it have ableed valve, has the timming belt been changed (64k), what about any oil leak from the engine. the very top (cam cover) gasket is prone to leaking. check for smoke on boost and start up. full boost is 3k.


also find out the service history too. where is has been serviced maybe phone them up and ask what problems it's had.


it may have the big burgandy key but does it have the alarm key and the code card as well. without the code card they can't do anything to your ECU/immobiliser. new ECU will set you back a bit.

Big split in a boost hose, and a faulty fan switch.... brrmmm tish

the good ones sell VERY quick!

the bad ones tend to be in the autotrader week after week....
