My m8s bin offered a 1.6 16v ecotech engine, loom, gearbox and ECU, with 16k for £400, apparently there jus over 100bhp standard, are they bacially the GSI engine?

nope, tis not anything like a c16xe

proberly have hydrolic clutch and fly by wire throttle, so very very difficult to convert

cant see it being any different too the mk4 astra 1.6 16v and there is plenty of people with those in corsas and novas.
