download something from the net so it doesn't go onto everyone else's name on xp ? and so it doesn't go into there programme lists aswell (where microsoft word, excel is etc)

Any ideas ? basically want it so the whole file goes under my name and nowhere else

select the file you want it to go under

make youself admin, then install it into your my documents folder (make sure you only have permission to it under your username)...then when you install it, go into the Documents and Settings folder (under your C drive) and go through all of the username folders (especially default) and delete the icons from the desktop and start folder....

im sure theres a simpler way but thats how i know to do it

put it in "my docs" if uer account is password protected no one (average pc user) will be able to see.

just gone into the user section and i have a name under ASP.NET MACHINE .. Whats that all about ?? can i delete it ?
