basically they are a hand held unit tht can capture an acurate image of the driver, record speed and plate etc all from A MILE AWAY!!!!

this combined with the new points system of between 1-5 mph over the limit is 2 points 5- something is 4 ponts etc it aint good news....

the crunch is... in certain areas they are permitted to use them out of signposted speed camera zones
