am not looking forward to telling the owners.

harsh I read that skyline website earlier loads of them lost cars

Apparently a oil tanker smacked into the side of the car carrying ship - tearing a big 5 meter wide hole into the hull...

so shit thinking of all those nice cars underwater

Just think one day when we're all driving shitty battery powered cars - someone can go diving and rescue a Skyline R34 and go 'this is what you call a proper car' lol

It wasn't that really sexy 300zx with the kit etc that sank though? was it? that would be a big loss.

no the vielside 300zx is fine, and it was a 20x50m hole not 5 meter hole!

Someone mentioned on the Skyline forum about insurance paying up to a fixed maximum amount per car, determined by working out the average value per car on the ship......so with 3,000 Hyundai's retailing at 37p per car, that's going to bring the average value down!

True, that was mentioned further on......if specialist insurance was taken out, those cars should be exempt from the maximum-payout clause.
