I went to buy some balljoints today, got one for £11 last in stock. Went over the road to Vauxhall to get the other, £37 + VAT!!!

Just laughed and walked out.

i got a set for £25 from motor factor they came with all new bolts etc washers etc and look stronger than the vaux ones

same with the tie rod ends

I got top and bottom both sides from a guy on eBay for 22 quid. Have a look in Parts by Brand in Automotive, he's always selling them.

Halfords claim that all thier spare parts are mad in the same factory, but as they branded as halfords parts they are up to 75% cheaper... They should therefore be the same quality parts as the official parts.

thats a point i need some ball joints on mine! do they make a knocking noise aswell? or is that sumink else that needs replacing?

no if it was cv joint wouldnt that do it on lock, mine knocks on lock, not on lock, knowing my car its the cv joint aswell!

I got Unipart ones. With bolts, and are good quality. I bet vaux would sell the bolts seperate.
