Ive lowerd my Corsa 40mm, and the only good thing ive noticed is it looks better. But, my cd player skips when i go over a leaf, everything squeeks and rattles, the ride is totally uncomfortable. Why do people do it?

just get some decent suspension and it will be better, is always gonna be more bumpy cos there less play in suspension.

my cd player is fine
it handels spot on and let you know when it starts to loose grip
it doesnt just let go on you

i love the way it handles and rides the roads
and will take all the speed bumps ive come across

lowering your car lowers the center of gravity, so makes it go round corners better. (in theory) A harder ride is one of the downfalls, cos the suspension doenst have as much travel. Invest in some decent suspension and you will definately see why people do it. I got a set of FK coilovers on, and i cant believe the difference it has made. Cornering feels so much more positive and responsive, ride is firm but very comfortable and it looks pretty low too.
