it sounds like its coming from under the car somewhere, hopefully ot the petrol tank, but it rattles quite bad. any idea what it might be ?

under the engine, nothing under the car shud rattle really, try some dynamat if u havent already on the boot floor/sides and tailgate.

check theres nothing loose under the spare wheel like a bolt or something

it is strong noise underneath the car at the rear , maybe behind where the bumper is situated, sounds a bit like the top of the petrol tank when u look under but i hope its not

the spare wheel bay is empty, took the spare wheel out and the plastic bolt that holds it in off because i thought that would rattle, maybe someting to do with the spare wheel be being empty then ?

had to take it out for MOT because of 17s

have u checked ur exhaust on the back axle?the weight of sub will lower it more and exhaust might be hitting rear axle

na aint that checked, not thta type of rattling sound either, ive had that b4 when the garage fitetd the bb they put the clamp on the wrong way around and it was against the axel... doh

doesnt need to be loud at all ,lol , cant really see anything just when i lok under it soudns as if its around the petrol tank area or behinf the rear bumper
